Automation services for small and mid-market businesses
Six service lines: audits that find the work worth automating, builds that remove it, and support that keeps the result running. Audits from $2,500, builds $8,000 to $35,000, retainers from $1,500 a month.
Where should you start?
Almost everyone starts with an audit, because building before measuring is how automation projects end up saving less than they cost. If you already know exactly what you want built, skip straight to a scoping call.
Automation audit
We follow your processes end to end, measure where the hours actually go, and hand back a written map with a prioritised list of what is worth automating — and what is not.
- 1–2 weeks
- Process map and time baseline
- Scored opportunity shortlist
- Yours to keep and act on with anyone
Workflow automation
The core build service. We connect the tools you already use so work moves between them on its own, with error handling and alerting in every flow.
- Make, n8n, Zapier, Power Automate
- Lead capture, quoting, onboarding, order to cash
- Parallel run before cutover
- Documented handover
AI agents & assistants
For the work that needs language understanding rather than rules: triaging inbound email, qualifying leads from free text, drafting replies, reading long documents.
- Claude and OpenAI APIs
- Retrieval over your own documents
- Human approval on anything consequential
- Evaluated against real examples before launch
System integrations
When off-the-shelf connectors run out, we write the integration: custom middleware, API work and two-way sync between systems that were never designed to meet.
- REST, GraphQL, webhooks, SFTP
- Legacy bridges and scheduled transfers
- Data migrations with dry runs and rollback
- Sync monitoring so silent failures surface
Automation support
Monitoring, fixes and a monthly improvement allowance. We also adopt and stabilise automations built by someone who has since left.
- Failure alerting across every workflow
- Fixes included, no per-incident billing
- Monthly allowance for small changes
- Quarterly review, cancel with 30 days notice
Automation consulting
For teams who intend to build in-house but want the strategy, platform choice and roadmap decided properly first — plus review of what they build.
- Platform selection with cost modelling
- Twelve-month automation roadmap
- Governance, naming and error-handling standards
- Code and scenario review for your team
A typical engagement
Nothing here is compulsory and you can stop after any stage. Most clients follow roughly this arc over their first year.
- Month 1 — Audit. Two weeks of measuring, then a written map and a shortlist. Cost: $2,500 to $6,000.
- Months 2–3 — First build. The highest-payback item from the shortlist, usually a single workflow across two or three systems. Cost: $8,000 to $18,000.
- Month 4 onward — Support. The first build goes on a retainer while the next one is scoped. Cost: from $1,500 a month.
- Months 5–9 — Second and third builds. By now the audit map is doing the work; you know what is next and roughly what it costs.
- Anytime — stop. Everything is in your accounts and documented. There is no unwinding to do.
Not sure which one you need?
That is what the scoping call is for. Tell us what is slow and we will tell you honestly which service fits — or whether the answer is a process change instead of software.
