We respond within one business day and will say plainly when something is outside our expertise.
What we can talk about credibly
We would rather be a useful source on a narrow set of topics than a quotable one on everything. These are the areas where we have direct operating experience.
- What automation actually costs small and mid-market businesses, with real figures rather than ranges designed to avoid saying anything
- Where AI genuinely helps versus where it is being oversold — we are on record that most businesses need deterministic workflows, not agents
- Why automation projects fail, particularly the exception-logic problem that causes most overruns
- The hire-versus-automate decision and why the honest answer is usually both
- Platform economics — how Make, n8n and Zapier pricing models diverge at volume
We do not comment on individual clients, and we will decline topics we do not have direct experience of.
Writing about business automation?
We are happy to be a background source with no expectation of a mention, including on stories that are critical of the sector.
