Cheapest to own over three years, not cheapest to build
Platform choice is mostly a pricing-model question wearing a technical costume. The feature sets overlap heavily; the cost curves do not.
Before we pick, we model your actual operation volume against each option over three years, including the cost of someone maintaining infrastructure if self-hosting is on the table. That model goes to you before anything is built.
- No reseller agreements. We earn nothing from your platform choice, in either direction.
- Built in your accounts. Your licences, your credentials, your data. If you stop working with us, nothing stops working.
- Plain code where it is cheaper. A Python script on a schedule beats a visual platform for heavy data processing, and we will say so.
- Portability considered. Business logic documented separately from the tool implementing it, so switching later costs 40–60% rather than starting over.
